HUNTSVILLE, Ala. –The PeopleTec Helping People Charity Committee is excited to kick off our 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Semper Fi Community Task Force.
The Semper Fi Community Task Force is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that gives back to the Tennessee Valley community through multiple volunteer and community-engagement activities and services—such as disaster recovery, youth mentoring, family readiness support, and job placement—for US military veterans and their families. The Semper Fi Community Task Force also acts as a conduit for companies, civic organizations, community groups, local churches, and individual citizens who want to use their resources to support wounded warriors and active duty military families.
The tournament, originally scheduled for the spring, has been rescheduled and relocated. The new date and time is Friday, August 28th at Canebrake Club in Athens, Alabama. The first flight begins at 8:00 am, with a second flight beginning at 1:30 in the afternoon. Multiple sponsorship levels are currently available, and participation is open to the public.
