Board of Directors

The Board of Directors understands the need for strong corporate governance and appropriate participation of the board in the operation of the company. PeopleTec’s Board of Directors is comprised of members who are representative of the management of the Company along with members who are independent and not employed by the Company. During its annual meetings, the Board reviews the operations of the Company and regularly receives briefings from senior managers of the Company. The Board works as a guiding body that provides the Company with a strategic vision and tactical recommendations as the Company endeavors to meet the needs of its stakeholders.

Ms. Terry Jennings

Chairperson

Ms. Jennings' professional career has spanned many facets of corporate administration and employee relations. She has over 25 years of experience in the defense services industry. Prior to joining PeopleTec, she was a corporate Vice President of Administration at SAIC where she oversaw administrative operations for the southeast region. From 1995 through 2003, Ms. Jennings was the Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Secretary and a Director at Quality Research, Inc. She was responsible for all aspects of corporate administration including Human Resources, Security, Facilities, Technical Publications and Corporate Information Systems departments. Ms. Jennings attended Motlow State College in Tennessee.

DougScalf

Mr. Doug Scalf

Director

Mr. Scalf's entire professional career has been in the technical services industry where he has held positions from systems analysts to Senior Vice President. Prior to joining PeopleTec he was the Vice President of Operations for Modeling, Simulation & Training at SAIC. From 1997 to 2003 he served in various capacities including Vice President and Senior Vice President for Quality Research’s Modeling, Simulation & Training Group where he was responsible for over 250 employees in eight states and annual revenues of over $25M. From 1982 until 1997 Mr. Scalf worked at Computer Sciences Corporation in various technical and management positions. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and has over 23 years of experience in the area of modeling, simulation and technical program management.

MR. FRANK JENNINGS

Director

Mr. Jennings' professional career includes over 30 years of experience in Finance and Government contracting. Prior to joining PeopleTec in 2005, Mr. Jennings worked as a consultant to local small businesses preparing cost proposals and establishing DCAA-compliant accounting systems. From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Jennings worked for Tec-Masters where he was Vice President of Operations, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and interfacing with the managers of 200 plus employees. From 1986 to 1991, he worked as the Director of Program Control for SRS Technologies. Prior to 1986, Mr. Jennings spent 12 years in the public accounting industry working for various CPA firms. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, from Tennessee Tech University.

Ms. Bobby A. Bradley

Director

Ms. Bradley was a Founder and President of Computer Systems Technology, Inc. (CST), a high technology Research and Development company with over $90 million in sales. Ms. Bradley and two associates founded the company in 1989 to provide innovative technologies and solutions to Government and commercial organizations. In April 2004, Ms. Bradley retired and is currently a partner in two companies: Lewis Properties and Genesis II. She also holds Board positions with the Huntsville Botanical Garden Foundation, Hudson Alpha Institute for Biotechnology Foundation, and Village of Promise.

GeorgeSmith

Mr. George Smith

Director

Mr. Smith is a partner with the law firm of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP.  As a corporate attorney with over 25 years of experience, George counsels clients regarding such issues as formation, executive compensation, joint ventures, financing, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and implementation of ESOPs for a variety of businesses, many of which are in the defense industry.  He has represented PeopleTec since inception and worked with members of the PeopleTec management team for over 20 years.  Mr. Smith has been involved in his family’s business, which is a manufacturing business providing products primarily to the defense industry.  George has served, and continues to serve, the community in various positions including serving on boards of such organizations as The Huntsville Rotary Club, The Arc of Madison County, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Association and the Downtown Rescue Mission.

Mr. Michael DeMaioribus

Director

Mr. Michael DeMaioribus has extensive experience as a Defense and Aerospace contractor involved in high technology areas of Intelligence, Missiles, Aviation, Cyber, Space, and Sensors. He held an executive role at Dynetics, Inc., where he played a leadership role in growing the business from 30 employees to over 1500. After almost four decades working at Dynetics, Mr. DeMaioribus retired as executive vice president and founded DeMaioribus Technologies, LLC in 2016. He is experienced in both the technical and business operations aspects of the business. Mr. DeMaioribus holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.

Mr. Chris Horgen

Mentor

Mr. Horgen is the senior managing partner of the Southeastern Technology Fund and an Operating Consultant with Eastside Partners. Mr. Horgen has directed the Southeastern Technology Fund in making 10 investments for a total of approximately $120 million. He has 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial advisor, and company operations. Mr. Horgen brings a wealth of operational and management expertise having been the founder of Nichols Research Corporation (Nichols) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of Nichols for 18 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of four public companies and four defense technology companies.

Mr. Dusit Charern

Mentor

Dr. Charern was the Founder and CEO of Quality Research for over 15 years. Dr. Charern mentored Doug Scalf, President and Terry Jennings, Chief Executive Officer, both founders of PeopleTec, during their time as Executive Officers at Quality Research. The entrepreneurial training received under Dr. Charern was invaluable in providing the experiences that the founders used in establishing PeopleTec. Dr. Charern's high-level advice and guidance became the foundation of PeopleTec and is consistent with his people-oriented culture at Quality Research. Dr. Charern's "people first" principles were critical in laying the platform and establishing PeopleTec as a customer and employee-centric company.
