Accurate and timely Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) is critical for US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), US Space Command (USSPACECOM), US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), and other organizations to make decisions and plan courses of action. Conflict in a Multi Domain Operations environment requires decision makers to find ways to avoid detection in a battlefield marked by increased visibility on the ground, in the air, and in space. Today’s operational environment is entrenched with sensors, drones, and other new technologies that require enhanced sensing support. GEOINT is essential to providing the warfighter with this type of direct support.
PeopleTec’s Advanced Geospatial Intelligence Analysts are highly experienced with proven tools, processes, methodologies, and intuitive insights that enable the delivery of high quality GEOINT products. Our analysts have directly supported the National Border Geospatial Intelligence Strategy Program with Customs Border Protection intelligence products. Additionally, they continuously support the global combatant commands with National To Theater Strategic and Space analytical geospatial operations and planning, collections and requirements management, and the implementation of innovative new analysis techniques.
PeopleTec’s analysts were part of a team that created a first-ever intelligence fusion effort that allowed the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) and U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) to achieve goals that otherwise would not have been possible. The Team built a process to track adversary terrestrial space and counterspace forces during exercises and crisis events. This was the first time the Army, the Joint Force or the Intelligence Community had tracked these forces with this level of detail. These efforts led to target nominations, directly supported a concept of operations plan briefed to the Secretary of Defense, and enabled space response options to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The team directly enabled targeting of Combatant Commander’s highest-priority targets by providing deployed forces with the first-ever details necessary to affect an adversary’s specific critical capabilities.
We provide GEOINT exploitation, analysis, and reporting of all Advanced GEOINT, Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG), and sensitive GEOINT-related disciplines in support of the Intelligence Community (IC) Missions using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and other tradecraft associated with the National System for GEOINT (NSG). PeopleTec’s understanding and knowledge of GEOINT phenomonologies, SAR exploitation, and applications allow our analysts to excel at the exploitation of key data ensuring overall mission success.
What is GEOINT?
Per the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Geospatial intelligence, or GEOINT is the exploitation and analysis of imagery and geospatial information to describe, assess and visually depict physical features and geographically referenced activities on the Earth. GEOINT consists of imagery, imagery intelligence, and geospatial information.
The Future of GEOINT.
As more sensors flood the battlefield there is a greater need to be able to navigate, analyze, and manage the amount of data that will be available to decision makers in an ever-changing operational environment. Data sharing and the increased need for accurate and timely information will be critical. The Demand Signal for commercial imagery continues to rise. Access to commercial imagery and the technology used to acquire, process and disseminate have also greatly improved. Newer payloads and the use of UAVs have also changed the conventional way high spatial resolution imagery is collected. Lastly, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is changing the way data is acquisitioned, processed and disseminated. PeopleTec has actively supported real world events by integrating AI technology and merging it with traditional GEOINT capability.
