PeopleTec Recognized as a Best Workplace for Millennials for the Third Consecutive Year

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine have recognized PeopleTec as a Best Workplace for Millennials for the third year in a row (2019, 2020, 2021). PeopleTec is honored to have topped this prestigious list once again, earning the #9 spot, and represent Huntsville as one of only three Alabama companies in the Small and Medium Category.

PeopleTec's CEO Terry Jennings said, "When Doug Scalf and I founded this company, we committed to remaining focused on our employees. Over the past several years, it became apparent that the next generation workforce is very different than the one we grew up in. In 2019, the company established the Next Generation Innovators to engage the next generation of leadership, share ideas, and mature an effective workforce for the future. This group is extremely smart, highly involved, and continues to grow strong."

The Best Workplaces for Millennials™ award is based on an analysis of survey responses from more than 5.3 million current employees nationwide. Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, ranked companies using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. In that survey, 98% of our employee-owners said PeopleTec is a great place to work (higher than the national average of 59%).

Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they create an employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.

"The Best Workplaces for Millennials™ treat their employees like people, not just employees," said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. "These companies foster caring and respect for one another, at every level of the organization. The result is millennial employees who say they look forward to coming to work and - as our research says - are 50 times more likely to stay a long time."
