Dr. Daniel Hyams Earns NDIA-TVC Technology Award
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – PeopleTec is proud to recognize Dr. Daniel Hyams, Chief Scientist, for receiving the 2025 Technology Award from the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Tennessee Valley Chapter (TVC). The NDIA-TVC Technology Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the defense technology base or have advanced critical technologies in support of national interests over the past two years.
Dr. Hyams’ expertise in hypersonics and computational modeling has supported multiple Department of Defense flight tests and significantly advanced national capabilities in this critical domain. As the lead engineer behind the Army’s Flight Analysis Software Toolkit (FAST), he transformed the way missions are planned and visualized for hypersonic flight tests. A recognized thought leader, Dr. Hyams’ published research has been featured at the Hypersonic Technology & Systems Conference and the National Fire Control Symposium. He was also a key contributor to PeopleTec’s achievement of CMMI Maturity Level 5 for both Development and Services. Through his technical achievements, Dr. Hyams has generated over $11M in revenue, and was a key contributor to secure a $99M IDIQ contract, and mentored the next generation of defense technology professionals.
