HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec is pleased to announce the following promotions to Director, effective 1 January 2022:

Wes Hawkins

He joined PeopleTec in July 2019 and serves as a deputy Program Manager for two of the company's contracts supporting cyber hardening and data analysis for space-based systems.

As Director, Wes will provide technical solutioning and strategic expertise for PeopleTec's cyber activities with focus areas in offensive and defensive cyberspace operations tool development, cyber range support, and Internet of Things (IoT) / industrial control systems (ICS) / supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). He will continue providing project leadership for cyber-focused R&D projects supporting the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC).

Wes holds several cyber certifications and earned his bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Alabama.


Mindy Finafrock

Ms. Mindy Finafrock has over 20 years of contracting and program management experience supporting DoD customers in acquisition (FAR/DFARS), Earned Value Management (EVM), Financial Management (GAAP), and Global Supply Chain Management, to include Logistics Management. She joined PeopleTec in September 2019 and serves as a Deputy Program Manager, providing management strategies and objectives through controls of budgets, policies, and procedures to ensure project success. 

As Director, Mindy will continue to lead projects supporting the US Army's Program Executive Office Missiles & Space (PEO MS) and PEO Aviation and the USASMDC's Technical Center. Along with several professional certifications and awards, Ms. Finafrock possesses a Master of Science Degree in Management from Faulkner University.


Troy Sutherland

Mr. Troy Sutherland is a seasoned Program Manager with almost a decade of experience supporting DoD and DOJ customers in program management, strategic management, strategic planning, financial management, data analysis, and business process analysis. He joined PeopleTec in October 2020 and serves as a Business Development Lead focusing on MDA and US Army PEO MS activities.

As Director, Troy will provide strategic expertise for PeopleTec's business development activities in targeted markets. He will continue providing program management support to the MDA and other customers while leading capture management efforts in those areas.

Troy attended the University of Alabama, graduating with a BS in Business Administration. He also holds an MBA with a concentration in Government Acquisition Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
