PeopleTec Announces New Group Vice Presidents

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – PeopleTec, Inc. (PeopleTec) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Wes Hawkins and Dr. Heath Berry to the position of Group Vice President in Division 2. Wes will lead Group D and Dr. Berry will lead Group Q effective January 1, 2026. These new groups are part of PeopleTec’s broader organizational realignment supporting continued growth and expanding technical capabilities.

 

Wes Hawkins

Mr. Hawkins joined PeopleTec in 2019 and brings deep expertise in cyber, ISR systems, and advanced test capabilities. He leads critical developmental and test programs in support of USASMDC, US Space Force, and the FBI. His teams execute advanced cyber test activities and develop high-fidelity assessment frameworks for mission-critical systems. Wes also manages vulnerability research and analysis and supports the integration of emerging technologies across multiple cyber test environments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Alabama.

 

 

Dr. Heath Berry

Dr. Berry joined PeopleTec as a Vice President in 2023 and brings nearly two decades of experience leading advanced technology programs across microelectronics, cyber technologies, RF systems, and applied AI/ML. He has served as principal investigator on numerous efforts spanning trusted microelectronics, hardware security, directed energy, and cyber-physical systems, and has led teams delivering complex research, development, and engineering solutions across multiple mission areas. He holds a Doctorate of Engineering degree from Louisiana Tech University.
