PEOPLETEC ANNOUNCES VICE PRESIDENT PROMOTIONS

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec is pleased to announce the following promotions to Vice President, effective 1 January 2022:

Carl Wood

Carl Wood has over 35 years of experience in program management, software engineering, and technical sales, working in the DoD aviation and commercial aviation markets. He joined PeopleTec in 2012 to lead a new software development project to build an enterprise business intelligence platform for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), to be used in analyzing total cost of ownership for their aviation assets. Rubix has been in production operations for over seven years, growing vastly in functionality and capability, and currently supports over 1,500 DoD users. As Vice President, Mr. Wood will increase his responsibility for the continued expansion of our products and pursue new business opportunities for PeopleTec.
Mr. Wood is an Army veteran, aviator, and long-time advisor to the 160th SOAR. He has extensive experience using structured methodologies and quality management systems to execute all aspects of the software development lifecycle. As a business developer and technical salesman, Mr. Wood has secured numerous business opportunities for PeopleTec.

   

   

Jeff Ragan

Jeff Ragan brings over 35 years of experience leading projects, programs, divisions, business units, and corporate business development activities. He joined PeopleTec in September 2014 to lead a diverse team providing cyber, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), data analytics, software development, enterprise IT, and space support on various cross-domain projects supporting multiple customers. He has significantly increased PeopleTec's capabilities in emerging high-value markets of cyber, AI/ML, and data analytics. As Vice President, Mr. Ragan will continue providing operational leadership, program and workforce management, and business development. He will continue to serve as Program Manager on PeopleTec's MAADS and MATCH task orders supporting the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command. Mr. Ragan earned his bachelor's in Computer Science from Jacksonville State University.
