PeopleTec Appraised At CMMI Level 5 In Services And Development

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – PeopleTec is proud to announce that our Customer Projects have been appraised at Level 5 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) for both Services and Development. The appraisal was performed by Brian Gallagher, PhD, PMP at BG Solutions and Services, LLC. The successful appraisal resulted in PeopleTec becoming one of only 12 organizations in the United States that currently meet the rigorous requirements of CMMI Maturity Level 5 in both Services and Development.

CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations to business goals. An appraisal at Maturity Level 5 indicates that the organization is performing at an “optimizing” level. At this level, an organization continually improves its processes based on a quantitative understanding of its business objectives and performance needs. The organization uses a quantitative approach to understand the variation inherent in the process and the causes of process outcomes.

“Achieving CMMI Maturity Level 5 for Services and Development is a testament to PeopleTec’s unwavering commitment to excellence, process maturity, and continuous improvement”, said Terry Jennings, CEO of PeopleTec. “Our commitment to excellence does not waver, and we will leverage this achievement as a steppingstone for further growth and innovation.”

Mr. Doug Scalf, President of PeopleTec, added, “This appraisal validates our team’s hard work and our ‘People First. Technology Always.’ ethos. We are proud to stand among the few organizations globally that hold this distinction, further solidifying our position as leaders in the technology and service sectors.”

As the industry landscape continues to evolve, PeopleTec remains steadfast in its mission to drive innovation, foster excellence, and ensure the highest standards of quality.
