PEOPLETEC COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL AI INSTRUCTOR PILOT FIELD ASSESSMENT AT FORT RUCKER

PeopleTec, Inc. has successfully completed a landmark three-day field assessment of its Artificial Intelligence Virtual Instructor Pilot (AI VIP) system at Fort Rucker's Army Aviation Learning Center, earning significant recognition. The AI VIP is a voice-activated AI assistant that operates within rotary-wing flight simulator platforms. The three-day assessment was led by the Capability Program Executive for Aviation’s Logistics and Sustainment team in coordination with the Utility Helicopter Project Office and the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command. It validated the system's performance across 16 structured session captures and demonstrated its readiness to support Army Aviation training at scale.

The system received an overwhelmingly positive response from all 25 participating pilots, who praised the AI VIP's accuracy in emergency procedure recall and its ability to understand and monitor crew coordination calls in real time. The AI VIP field assessment brought together a broad coalition of Army aviation stakeholders, including the Directorate of Training and Doctrine, Directorate of Simulation, 1st Aviation Brigade Special Standards, 1st Battalion 212th Aviation Regiment, Army Capability Managers, and the Apache Project Office, reflecting the program's cross-organizational significance.

“These AI training tools represent exactly the kind of innovation that defines PeopleTec," said Adam Kingsborough, Senior Program Manager. "Seeing 25 pilots walk away impressed is a testament to what our team delivers in the field.”

The assessment also showcased two companion tools sharing the AI VIP's underlying framework: ARISTOTLE, an AI subject matter expert tool for querying Army aviation manuals, and ARIA, an AI-powered nano learning module generator for rapid course creation. Both tools generated significant interest and are being evaluated for broader application across Army aviation training programs.

"As a retired Army aviator, I view this technology as a generational shift," said Richard Crabtree, Senior Vice President. "It enables students to train without an instructor present while still receiving expert, standards-based instruction. I'm proud our team delivered a capability that brings this level of impact to the field."
