PeopleTec Lands Seat on $48B DoDIAC Research and Development Contract
HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA. – PeopleTec, Inc. (“PeopleTec”) announced today that it has won a seat on the $48 billion Department of Defense Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC). PEOPLETEC is one of 13 prime contractors in the Partial Small Business Set-Aside (Pool 2). PeopleTec was awarded this contract by the U.S. Air Force's 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron.
The IAC MAC is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides a wide range of mission-critical Research and Development to hundreds of requiring activities throughout the DoD. Under this contract, PeopleTec will offer its research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) expertise to meet urgent U.S. defense needs. PeopleTec will have the opportunity to bid on task orders focused on a wide breadth of technical areas, including Weapons Systems, Autonomous Systems, Survivability and Vulnerability, Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability and Interoperability (RMQSI), Advanced Materials, Military Sensing, Energetics, Directed Energy, Non-Lethal Weapons and Information Operations, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Cyber-Security, Software and Data Analysis, Modeling and Simulation, Knowledge Management and Information Sharing, Homeland Security and Defense, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Biometrics, Medical, Cultural Studies, Alternative Energy, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN).
PeopleTec and its impressive team of experts will provide a full range of research and development (R&D) services for the DoD research and acquisition community across these 22 Technical Focus Areas. We will draw from and build on the existing DoD technical knowledge base held by DTIC and add to that knowledge base by conducting a wide range of studies, evaluations, and analyses of methods to address the DoD's most pressing technological challenges. Team PeopleTec consists of PeopleTec, Inc., Quanterion Solutions, Inc., Guardian Centers of Georgia, Auburn University, Johns Hopkins University, KRATOS Defense, Applied Research Associates, Booz Allen Hamilton, and ExoAnalytic Solutions.
About the DoDIAC Program
The DoDIAC, sponsored by the Defense Technical Information Center, provides technical data management and research support for DoD and federal government users. Established in 1946, the IAC program serves the DoD science & technology (S&T) and acquisition communities to drive innovation and technological developments by enhancing collaboration through integrated scientific and technical information development and dissemination for the DoD and broader S&T community.
Preferred Use of DODIAC Contracts
The Preferred Use of DoDIAC Contract memorandum was signed by Dr. Aprille J. Ericsson, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Science and Technology (S&T) on 19 December 2024. In it, Dr. Ericsson recognizes the DoDIAC program as a model for rapid acquisition of advanced Research and Development services and encourages Requiring Officers and Contracting Officers to use the IACs as best value vehicles to acquire R&D and research and analysis services.
