PEOPLETEC RECIPIENT OF THE 2013 SMALL BUSINESS ESGR PRO PATRIA AWARD FOR THE STATE OF ALABAMA
PeopleTec is extremely proud to announce that we are this year's small business recipient of the Pro Patria Award from the DoD Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Office for the State of Alabama. This prestigious award is presented annually by each ESGR State Committee to one small, large and public sector employer that demonstrates outstanding support to their employees by adopting policies and practices that make it easier for their employees to serve our nation at home and abroad in the National Guard and Reserves. We would like to extend our gratitude to deployed PeopleTec employee Mr. Rick Tuggle, Army Reservist, currently serving our nation in Afghanistan, without whom this award would not have been possible. Rick, a member of Vice President Brad Blume's group, nominated the company for the DoD Freedom Award, this nomination led to our receipt of this year's Pro Patria Award.
Alabama ESGR Representative visited PeopleTec's Corporate Headquarters in Huntsville August 27th to present PeopleTec with this year's Pro Patria award, the highest honor bestowed on a company by the ESGR. We would like to send a special thanks to Rick and his family for their sacrifice in service of the nation as he serves abroad and send our heartfelt gratitude and prayers for Rick during his deployment.
