HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec is honored to have been recognized for our commitment to serving the veteran community. This Veterans Day, we received two significant awards commending our efforts to support our nation's veterans: 2021 HIRE Vets Platinum Award issued by the US Department of Labor and the 2022 Military Friendly® Employer Designation.

PeopleTec's CEO, Terry Jennings, is proud of the company's impressive 35% veteran workforce and said: "PeopleTec supports the Warfighter in many ways: behind a virtual screen, on the battlefield, or in an office. 2021 HIRE Vets Platinum Award

PeopleTec was recognized by the US Department of Labor as a Platinum recipient of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes job creators who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans. The HIRE Vets Award is based on several criteria ranging from veteran hiring and retention to providing veteran-specific resources, leadership programming, dedicated human resources, and compensation and tuition assistance programs - with varying requirements for large, medium, and small employers.

PeopleTec has earned the Gold Medallion every year since inception of the HIRE Vets program in 2018. This year marks the company's first time receiving the Platinum Award, joining 848 other companies across the nation that have shown commitments to hiring veterans and ensuring they have long-term career plans that leverage the diverse skills acquired through military service. 2022 Military Friendly® Employer Designation

PeopleTec is proud to announce that we earned the 2022 Military Friendly® Employer designation for the first time this year. From hiring and career advancement to customer service and charitable investment, over 1,000 companies were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey.

The Military Friendly® investigates and identifies companies whose commitment to serving the military and veteran community is comprehensive in scope and meaningful in terms of actual outcomes and impact. Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council comprising independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the company's survey score with an assessment of the organization's ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion and Advancement of veterans and military employees.
