PEOPLETEC SUCCESSFULLY PASSES ISO AUDIT, RESULTING IN SCOPE EXPANSION

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec, Inc. proudly maintains our status as a certified ISO 9001:2015 small business, with an expanded scope to cover all corporate-wide capabilities and locations. Since 2014, PeopleTec's prototyping and hardware development capabilities have been certified at ISO 9001:2015. However, prior to this year's audit, our leadership and Process Management and Improvement Team (PMIT) decided to prepare for an expanded-scope ISO audit, which covers "Design, Development, Manufacturing, Integration and Engineering Support Services for Government and Commercial Customers." Our scope also expanded to include all corporate offices and employee locations, including Huntsville, Alabama and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Dr. Dana Tanner, PeopleTec Vice President and PMIT Lead, said the following: "We are pleased that the final audit report noted our organizational commitment to continual improvement. We take this commitment seriously in all of our company's processes, in order to help our employee-owners provide efficient and effective support to all of our customers."

ISO is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. The International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

  1. needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
  2. aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, high quality products and services.
