PEOPLETEC WELCOMES MR. DENNIS KATER

PEOPLETEC, INC. WELCOMES NEW EMPLOYEE - MR. DENNIS KATER  

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Dennis Kater joined the organization in September 2018 as a Senior Business Development Specialist in the Colorado Springs, CO, office. Mr. Kater is responsible for developing and executing strategies to capture opportunities in the Department of Defense market.  Additional responsibilities are planning, directing, and coordinating PeopleTec business development activities in the western region of the United States. He brings over 30 years of strategic planning and communication, capture management, business development, and program and project management experience supporting the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Strategic Command, U.S. Strategic Command, and the Missile Defense Agency. His most recent position was with MDA's Engineering Directorate supporting developmental Ballistic Missile Defense System Flight, Ground, and Cyber Testing. 

Mr. Kater's education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Regis University; a Master of Military Arts and Science degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College; a Master of Arts degree in International Studies/Diplomacy from the University of Oregon; a Master Certificate of Project Management from the University of California, Irvine; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oregon State University. Dennis is also a graduate of the U.S. Army's School of Advanced Military Studies. 

Mr. Kater served honorably in the United States Army for 24 years before retiring as Lieutenant Colonel in 2006. During his military service, Mr. Kater served in the Signal Corps, Military Intelligence, Air Defense Artillery Branch, and as a Foreign Area Officer and Operational Planner. He is a veteran of the Gulf War and the War in Iraq.
