PEOPLETEC, INC. WELCOMES NEW EMPLOYEE - MR. ROBERT GOLDSMITH

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec, Inc. is pleased to welcome Robert (Rob) Goldsmith to the team. Mr. Goldsmith joins PeopleTec as a Vice President, helping PeopleTec strengthen and grow our cybersecurity capabilities and presence in the national cyber market. He brings over 25 years of cybersecurity research development, systems and mechanical engineering, strategic management, and executive leadership supporting the US Army, Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC)/Army Forces Strategic Command (ARSTRAT), and the corporate sector.

Mr. Goldsmith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. After serving as an officer in the US Army for over five years, Mr. Goldsmith joined a Fortune 500 manufacturing company as an assistant plant engineer and manager in Mobile, AL. He moved to Huntsville in 2003 to lead a Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity team for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he served the company as assistant vice president before joining the government sector. Mr. Goldsmith transitioned to the government in March 2011 to serve as the Cyber Lead for AMRDEC before serving as the Director for Cyber Integration for USASMDC/ARSTRAT.

Throughout Mr. Goldsmith's extensive cybersecurity and engineering experience, he managed multiple complex technical projects, including cyber prototype, techniques, and procedures development, computer network defense support, and system requirements reviews and assessments. He also has chaired numerous working groups and teams (including SMDC's Cyber Action Group, DoD's Advanced Integrity Analysis (AIA) Working Group, and the Cyber Huntsville Government Integrated Product Team) and brings to PeopleTec superior experience in communication, leadership, and cyber strategic planning.
