PEOPLETEC WELCOMES MS. JOAN SMITH

PeopleTec Welcomes Joan Smith, Vice President

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PeopleTec, Inc. is delighted to welcome Joan Smith to the team as a Vice President. Mrs. Smith brings more than a decade of experience supporting DoD organizations and leading small business. Her focus has been across aviation and missile research, development, and sustainment, systems and materials engineering, manufacturing, strategy development, and executive leadership. Prior to joining PeopleTec, Mrs. Smith was the President of a privately-funded small business specializing in technology development, where she established a manufacturing facility and managed commercial and defense developmental efforts. Mrs. Smith also served as a US Army civilian for 11 years. During her tenure with the DoD, she led aviation technical programs, directed missile research efforts, served in executive leadership functions, and managed multiple programs that facilitated improvements to Army Aviation Fleet.  

Mrs. Smith is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a BS in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. She also earned an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
