PeopleTec Wins TITAN Innovation Gold Award for Ai in Aviation Technology

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – PeopleTec, a leader in engineering and technology solutions, is proud to announce our artificial intelligence (AI) training team was recognized as a 2025 TITAN Innovation Awards Gold winner within the Innovation in Technology - Aviation Technology category.  The TITAN Innovation Awards celebrate innovative technology designs, trailblazing subject matter experts, and cutting-edge solutions. As scored by 200+ international judges, TITAN awards feature selections from more than 100,000 entries representing 122 countries.

PeopleTec’s AI training team was globally recognized for creatively implementing an AI-Powered Virtual Instructor. Built upon ARISTOTLE (Augmented Research Intelligence System for Task Optimization and Technical Literature Evaluation), our life-like Army Aviation expert demonstrates how the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation could assist aviation operators and maintainers to streamline their training needs with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) designed on their own repair and operation manuals.

Led by Adam Kingsborough, DC O’Steen, Torey Massey, and Steven Devan, the technology team advanced military aviation training by seamlessly blending AI with immersive technology to create an on-demand expert training system for Army Aviation. This life-like, 3D virtual mentor, or Virtual Maintenance Instructor (VMI), is powered by advanced voice cloning and text-to-speech systems. It integrates ARISTOTLE’s secure AI/LLM Engine to deliver precise instruction in a conversational manner while maintaining consistent DoD terminology.

By leveraging ARISTOTLE’s real-time document processing and knowledge correlation, the VMI draws from comprehensive Army Aviation manuals, engineering data, and logistics documents. This allows it to adapt to each trainee’s learning pace and style. The system processes natural language questions through its speech-to-text pipeline and provides immediate, relevant responses guided by ARISTOTLE’s data, ensuring trainees receive information that is both accurate and up to date. Whether demonstrating complex repair procedures or explaining technical specifications, the AI-powered virtual instructor maintains engagement through dynamic 3D visualizations and step-by-step guidance.

“At PeopleTec, we are committed to staying at the cutting edge of technology and nurturing our culture of technical excellence and innovation,” said Terry Jennings, CEO of PeopleTec. “It is an honor to have our brilliant AI training team receive this distinguished industry recognition. Our talented employee-owners are the heart of the company, and their expertise is what sets us apart within the defense community”.
