WES HAWKINS AND TINA NICHOLSON HONORED AT PMI-NAC AWARDS

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – PeopleTec, Inc. proudly congratulates employee-owners Wes Hawkins and Tina Nicholson, who were honored at the 2026 Project Management Institute – North Alabama Chapter (PMI-NAC) Awards Gala. Wes was named the Outstanding Young Professional Project Manager of the Year, and Tina was named runner-up for Outstanding Project Manager of the Year. The event was held at the Huntsville Botanical Garden on June 4, 2026, and celebrated the achievements of exceptional project management professionals in North Alabama.

Wes Hawkins, PeopleTec Group Vice President, has built a distinguished career marked by rapid advancement and remarkable leadership across some of the most complex national security programs. Over 14 years, he has progressed from Software Engineer to Group Vice President, now leading a 64-member team and managing high-impact efforts for the U.S. Army, U.S. Space Force, and FBI. His selection as PMI-NAC Outstanding Young Professional Project Manager of the Year reflects technical and organizational expertise and the disciplined, mission-focused leadership that has earned him the trust of senior government customers.

Tina Nicholson, Senior Group Vice President, brings over 30 years of program management experience to the most challenging programs, meeting them with confidence, reliability, hands-on leadership, and unwavering commitment. A PeopleTec employee-owner since 2009, she recently led the capture of one of the company’s most strategically significant contract wins to date, a $261 million prime NexGen SETA contract with the U.S. Army. As runner-up for Outstanding Project Manager of the Year, Tina exemplifies the dedication and leadership that drives critical Department of Defense missions and carry forward PeopleTec’s legacy of excellence.
